Hope’s primary job is to provide comfort to people who are in need. She serves the local hospitals, schools, courts, senior facilities, churches, civic organizations, etc. She does not come to an event unless she is invited. Use the button below to request a visit from Hope!
Hope's Local Membership
Hope is owned by Faith Lutheran Church, Marietta, GA 30068. She is supported by a team of approximately 20 volunteers. She serves people in the metro area, the state of Georgia and the states neighboring the state.
She is a regular supporter of the Cobb County Accountability Court system. She visits the Drug Court, Mental Health Court, Veteran’s Court and Family Court.
Hope has recently gained volunteer status with WellStar Kennestone and Windy Hill Hospitals. She serves the patients and staff members, greeting them with a wagging tail and smile!
Hope's National Membership
Hope is also a member of the Lutheran Church Charities (LCC) Comfort Dog Ministry. Gaining notoriety after the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting, the ministry now supports 130 dogs in 28 states.
